ITEM: BC311 This bayonet
was manufactured for the British Lee Metford
rifle and was produced in two patterns, this
example being the second. The first pattern
utilised three brass rivets for retaining
the grip plates. The blade is un-fullered
and is stamped with the broad arrow and
several accountability numbers as is the
scabbard. A clean example showing minor
pitting to some areas of the hilt fittings,
the leather based scabbard is excellent.
