ITEM: B308 This piece is
typical late war production and due to the
over the shoulder Eickhorn trademark can be
dated to 1942. It has crude wooden grip
plates chiselled to imitate stag. The blade
is thinly plated with no lifting but does
show wear or some dark spots, the trademark
unusually faces down the blade. There is the
slightest of movement on the blade probably
down to the hasty assembly. The hilt plating
remains largely intact with a black painted
scabbard and 35% loss. A good representative
example of production in decline.
